Garden Condition:

There are extreme differences in levels between the small terrace at the rear of the house and the main area of the garden. Steep terracing forms bank alongside old Yorkstone stairwell that leads to lower part of the garden.

The previous owners had neglected the garden and it had become overgrown and unusable with all the existing paving having worked loose.

Finished Garden:

To extend the usable space near the house a raised deck was constructed over the existing terraces creating ample entertaining space. The deck was extended into the mature magnolia tree which acts as a screen from neighbours in the summer months but also as a stunning backdrop when out in flower.

By utilising a sympathetic paving the terrace now sits more comfortably with this Victorian terrace and emphasises the unique feature of the stunning Yorkstone staircase.
